I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (which I originally featured in this post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also worn them enough now that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where can I find a pair like yours?

Placed my order on the 28th of April and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
How expensive are they?

Are they true to size?
They’re true to size in my experience, at least for me.
Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
They felt good almost immediately. No-show socks help with the break-in period, especially since they reduce sweat. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in fake leather. Plus, they’re already softened so your feet just slide in.
How durable are they?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the sparkle on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re expensive, so getting them on sale is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also go with everything.
